welcome to

Our 2026 Blueberry Season is Here!

🫐 IMPORTANT UPDATE 🫐

After carefully watching the fields and evaluating the harvest this week, we have made the difficult decision to officially close for the blueberry season.

This year brought extraordinary challenges for farms across Florida. We estimate we lost at least 70% of our crop due to freeze damage and drought conditions, making this one of the most difficult growing seasons in recent memory.

While this season ended sooner than we hoped, it also reminded us that farming means living in relationship with nature and honoring the rhythms of the land. Berries are seasonal, fleeting, and meant to be savored.

We are deeply grateful for every family, friend, neighbor, and visitor who supported the farm this season. Thank you for spending time outdoors with us, supporting local agriculture, and helping create such meaningful memories here on the land.

Even though blueberry season has ended, the farm continues growing year-round. Stay tuned for future offerings including gatherings, wellness experiences, educational events, nature-based experiences, and more ways to enjoy the beauty of the farm beyond berry season.

We also currently have local honey and bamboo poles available for pickup at the farm. Please reach out via phone, email, or direct message to coordinate pickup.

Thank you again for being part of the River & Root Farm community. We look forward to welcoming you back next season.
